Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Toolkit Pro.
Yes, completely. All 40+ tools on Toolkit Pro are free to use with no account, no subscription and no hidden charges.
Your data is 100% private. Every tool runs entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. Nothing is uploaded to any server — we literally cannot see your files, text or PDFs.
No account is required. Open any tool and start using it immediately — no sign-up, no email address, no subscription needed.
Toolkit Pro uses modern browser APIs including the Canvas API, Web Crypto API and WebAssembly. These are available in all modern browsers. If you encounter an issue, try updating your browser to the latest version. Internet Explorer is not supported.
Yes. All tools are fully responsive and work on mobile devices. For tasks involving large PDFs or images, a desktop or laptop will give you better performance due to more available memory.
Most text tools work offline once the page has loaded, since all processing happens in your browser. PDF and image tools that load libraries (PDF.js, pdf-lib) from a CDN require an internet connection to fetch those scripts on first load. After first load, browsers often cache these scripts so subsequent uses may work offline.
There is no hard limit imposed by Toolkit Pro. The practical limit depends on your device's available RAM. Most modern devices handle files up to 50–100 MB comfortably. Very large PDFs (200+ pages) or very high-resolution images may be slow on older or low-memory devices. If the tool becomes unresponsive, try splitting a large PDF into smaller sections first.
Most online tools upload your files to their servers — which raises significant privacy concerns, especially for confidential documents, legal files or personal photos. Toolkit Pro processes everything locally in your browser so your data never leaves your device. There are also no advertisements, no forced sign-ups, no watermarks on output files and no artificial file size restrictions imposed by us.
Yes, absolutely. All tools are free to use for both personal and commercial purposes without restriction. There are no licensing fees or usage limits on what you create or process. The output files are entirely yours.
Toolkit Pro works in all modern browsers: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Apple Safari and Brave. For the best experience we recommend the latest version of Chrome or Edge. Internet Explorer is not supported as it lacks the modern JavaScript APIs our tools rely on.
Go to the Merge PDFs tool, drag and drop two or more PDF files into the upload area. You can then drag the file list items to reorder them. Click the "Merge PDFs" button and a single combined PDF will download to your device automatically — no account, no upload to any server required.
Toolkit Pro's Image Compressor processes your photos entirely in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. Your images are never sent to any server. Simply drag your image in, adjust the quality slider, and download the compressed result instantly. It supports JPEG, PNG and WebP formats.
No — Base64 is an encoding scheme, not encryption. It converts binary data into a text-safe ASCII character set so it can be safely transmitted in text-based protocols (like JSON or email). Anyone can decode Base64 instantly — it provides no confidentiality or security. If you need to protect sensitive data, use proper encryption such as AES. Use our Base64 Encoder for encoding tasks only.
Open the WebP to JPG tool, upload your image, and set the quality slider to 90–95% before clicking Convert. This retains near-lossless visual quality while producing a universally compatible JPEG file. The conversion runs entirely in your browser using the Canvas API — no upload required.
The 40+ core tools you see today are free and will remain free permanently — that is a firm commitment. We may introduce an optional Pro tier in the future with advanced AI-powered features for power users, but it will never affect, restrict or change access to the existing free tools. Free stays free.
